How to choose a carpet in custom sizes?
The appearance and functionality of the space stand out when you choose a rug in the right size. A sufficiently large rug brings the furniture together and makes the space an inviting place. A custom-sized rug is as well-suited as possible for both the space and the eye.
At our factory, we manufacture carpets in four-meter-wide rolls, which are 30-40 meters long. Rugs can be cut and finished to almost any size and shape. Boldly choose a large enough rug for your space!
A living room rug looks best when it brings together the furniture and the room’s function. Place the rug well under the sofa (30-40 cm) and let it extend the same amount beyond the edge of the sofa. The same applies to corner sofas—when the rug is placed under the sofa, the room becomes inviting and unified. If the space is very large, the furniture can be entirely on the rug. In open spaces, you can define the seating area with a large rug, dedicating a valuable area of your home to comfort.
In the dining room, it’s always worth ordering custom-sized rugs for practical reasons alone. All the legs of the dining chairs should stay on the rug when sitting at the table, enjoying good company and the meal. Allow 50-70 cm of space on the rug for the chair from the edge of the table. If the table is one meter wide, the rug should be at least two meters wide. For a round table, a round rug, which is at least one meter wider than the table’s diameter, is suitable. Our collection offers a wide range of rugs for the bedroom. The bedroom rug should be large enough. Place the rug partially under the bed. Leave about 60 cm of space from the edge of the bed to the sides and foot of the bed. A good arrangement in the bedroom could be a 200×300 cm rug if the bed is 180×200 cm.
