The elegant and ecological Pajukko is woven from paper yatn, the brown shade of which is naturally dyed with Finnish willow. Products dyed with natural dyes are not only more ethical and safer, but also more serene and softer in tone than those dyed with industrial dyes. The carpet is treated with a dirt-repellent, which makes rug care easy. The cotton borders used to cover the edges are also treated. The backing is safe, non-slip EVAPOLYTEX.
Pajukko rug has been designed for VM Carpet by the young Finnish designer Tuulikki Peltonen.
